PARTS SPECIALIST – CALGARY, AB
Westquip Diesel Sales has a full time position available for a qualified Parts Specialist at our Calgary facility. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working in a casual yet fast paced environment.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
–Be a point of contact for customer parts requests/orders
-Research & identify parts solutions for customers for a variety of different vendors
-Communicate parts solutions to the customer & provide availability, cost & shipping information
-Prepare orders, take payment information, provide order status & ship as required
-Order required parts and shop supplies from a variety of vendors, preparing the necessary purchase orders for the vendors, track vendor orders.
-Ship/receive parts, branch inventory transfers & shop supplies
-Monitor parts inventory to ensure necessary items are kept in stock, and order when necessary.
-Ensure necessary receipts/packing slips are submitted to corp. office on a daily basis.
-Collect payment for orders, ensuring branch payment procedures are followed, effectively completing each order as per customer specifications.
-Prepare expense reports for company credit card holders in branch, and submit to corp. office weekly.
-Answer phones as required.
–Minimum 4 years automotive or industrial parts experience
-Familiarity with Heavy Duty/Diesel engines seen as an asset
-Comfortable lifting up to 50LBS throughout the day
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to multi-task, prioritize & manage time effectively
-Excellent knowledge of parts
-Able to handle a fast-paced environment effectively and with a professional attitude
-Favorable customer skills, computer knowledge, Microsoft Office applications, are all assets
-Ability to navigate a variety of vendor websites & data bases used for parts ordering
-Comfortable dealing with shipping/receiving logistics companies
Westquip Diesel Sales has full time position available for an Electrical Assembler at our Acheson facility.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Electrical assembly of DC engine and generator control panels and control systems
- Various AC electrical panel and component assembly
- Control panel installations and testing
- Previous electrical experience and training
- Technical skills in electrical procedures, techniques, tools, materials and /or equipment
- Familiarity with DC and AC electrical control systems
- Strong focus on quality control and attention to detail
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
